Is this a reasonable Marketing salary?
I work as a Marketing Executive for an in-house Sales Marketing department. Although a small company in terms of staff, it delivers services nationally to some major clients. My role involves marketing and graphic/web design. These are my main duties:
• Management of all Marketing PR activities
• Design of company website, marketing literature, email marketing, display advertising and any other promotional materials, including client presentations
• Lead management - involves advanced Excel functions
• Database management
• SEO/PPC
• Internal communication
• Management of business partner relationships (2 major mobile network providers)
• An element of performance management
Although I don’t hold a marketing qualification, I have now been in the job for 2 years and get positive feedback from my employer. I earn £14.5k basic + bonus. Despite promises otherwise, the bonus scheme is barely worthwhile - weighing in at £200 quarterly (before tax).

No bonus normal for entry-level Database Marketing Analyst job?
Recently graduated and just started working for a big high fashion design co in NYC as a database marketing analyst. The pay is ok at $50k, but I found it strange that I’m not eligible for a bonus. (HR tells me bonuses are reserved for levels manager and above) Other companies that made offers all offered bonus potential, so I assumed that it was the norm.
Anyway, I took this job because the work is more in tune with my interests. However, I’m just confused about the bonus situation. Could someone fill me in?

How can I sell myself in my interview for a vertical marketing specialist?
I want to do something different. It’s an internal position that is based on creating info, having trainings on verticals(hospitality, HR, Retail, Finance and Banking..etc.) Any marketing position within our company is very difficult to land if you don’t stand out, because everyone wants it.
I was thinking of putting together a packet. Such as my resume, letters of recommendation, e-mails from clients and perhaps a sell sheet on myself.
Does anyone else have any ideas other than the one’s i brought up, or what I could put in the sell sheet?

Where can I find a mentor in the fields of marketing and advertising?
I am a new Account Executive for an up and coming television station. I am looking for somebody, preferrably somebody who is successful in advertising, (say a successful ad agent) or someone of the sort to e-mail back and forth with. I am starting to feel a little lost and would like and outside perspective on my work so far. Where can I find somebody who is willing to share their expertise?

What is a reasonable salary for a combination of marketing roles including graphic design?
Just curious what marketing folks out there think is an equitable salary for a special case of combining several roles into one job within an in-house marketing department. These roles include production of print, mail and email jobs + graphic design + coordination of all projects (trafficking)? The department serves 3 related companies, each having their own marketing communication specialist. This role would coordinate all creative services staff to complete jobs (trafficking) as well as handle all vendor relationships (sending jobs to print and mail house), plus provide graphic design for print and web. The experience level is 6 years as graphic designer and production plus bachelors degree, (Liberal arts but not fine arts or design).

In sales marketing, if I don’t get a response to my e-mail after a week, does it mean they’re not interested
I send out e-mails to various persons and establishments regarding our offer. If I don’t receive a feedback after a week, does it mean that they’re not interested? Do I have to call them to ask for feedback? Thanks.
