I’m looking for some software that I can describe how tables in a database interrelate and then tell it how I want to gather data from the various tables and display them in various charts, graphs and data tables.

Has anyone seen this type of product on the market or have any recommendations?
I appreciate the answers guys but I’m looking for a more automated solution, not looking to manually create reports from the data, I can already do that.

And is there any source which can give me graphs and statistics about the current market size of remote DBA providers? in USA and globally

I’m helping with the design of a logo for a future marketing company. However the things i been using are worthless i need some advice on what i should use or any kind of services you know that are out there to do it for me or provide the resources to do it myself. I need a database to collect, store and analyze test data generated from manufacturing processes. At a minimum, I need to track test yields and time, test measurement data and tester efficiency. I know there has to be number of applications already on the market, but I don’t know where to start.

I write the test software, and I can stuff the data into any database system in whatever format. But I never had to worry about the background stuff. Any suggestions as to where to look?

The calendar would email me the user input results as well. Currently my sales reps email me to see if a date is available for them to send a email marketing message, if it is i email back and so on. I would like the sales rep to be able to view the calender online and pick a date and a have a request sent to me.

Our clients commercial website is hosted on hosting server which MARKETING PEOPLE CHOSE. Hosting server don’t have anything like control panel. I had to do all research from beginning. I connect to website by ftp. To change database I have created php template change queries in it like ‘alter table add column’, or insert values in table. I have linked mysql database to ms access on my computer every time I add new column, I had to do link tables process all over again. I can’t test sql queries in access because it’s linked table there is lot of confusion between datatypes or mysql MSAccess. I am finding myself wasting lot of time on hosting related issues than actually working to fix website related code. Is it normal? If we chose good hosting plan do they provide control panel where we can view MODIFY MYSQL DATABASE DIRECTLY.

It needs to be keyword searchable. I created it in WORKS, but obviously not everyone has that program. I would like to be able to import my current work…about 1700 records, with 6 fields in each record. The only search capability it needs to return is an all records search, using a keyword or phrase. It also needs to be easy to set up as I am not too proficient.

for example is it database security, warehouses, object oriented databases, parallel or distributed databes… etc
i have to write a report of 6000 words discussing one of these topics and which one of them has a future in this rapid business world
i’d appreciate suggestions from the experts in DB
