In my e-mail address box there is a advertising box on the right side of the screen. How do I get rid of it?

When I open up my e-mail address box. I can’t click on my group e-mail lists because on the right side of the screen is an advertisment square. There is no arrow at the bottom of the screen, so I can’t slide the arrow over to get access to my group e-mail list. How do I get rid of the advertisment square?
